Table Limits and Tournaments at Casino Dene
Casino Dene has over 250 games, including 10 table games with maximum bets of up to $100. The game finder below shows whether a particular game is there.
Slots and VLTs
In all, Casino Dene offers over 250 games across slots, VLTs and table games. A VLT, short for video lottery terminal, is an electronic, screen-based game. Slots on the floor come in 1-cent, $1 and $5 denominations. A machine's denomination means what a single credit is worth there, which is why a 1-cent slot often gets called a penny slot.
The casino floor has non-smoking areas and designated smoking areas. Visitors who are sensitive to smoke can ask at Guest Services which parts of the floor are non-smoking. The Aurora Bar and Lounge is non-smoking as well.

Table games
Casino Dene runs 10 table games, and bets at them top out at $100. Among the games the casino names are roulette, Chase the Flush, Texas Hold'em and poker. The game finder on this page lists each named game under its full name.
Casino Dene's list of table games closes with the words "and more", so the floor may hold games not named here. For any other game, call 780-594-7900 or ask staff at the casino. Casino Dene publishes no separate hours for its table games. It publishes no holiday hours either, so a call ahead of a holiday visit to the casino is sensible.
Poker tournaments
Casino Dene holds poker tournaments every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This guide does not give start times, buy-ins or prizes. The casino has those details and can confirm them by phone.
Call 780-594-7900 locally or 1-888-594-7228 toll-free. The casino's events page at casinodene.com lists upcoming events. Poker also appears on the casino's list of table games.
The Winner's Edge card
Winner's Edge is the rewards card that AGLC (Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis) runs for casinos across Alberta, Casino Dene among them. The card is collected at the Guest Services counter. Anyone picking it up brings government-issued ID and has to be at least 18.
Winner's Edge includes the My Activity and Budgeting Tools. Members use them to set limits on spending and on time, plus alerts. This can be done at a Winner's Edge kiosk, which every Alberta casino has, or through the member's own online account.
